SCOPE OF WORK:

ORG 162 MOCKINGBIRD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – RENOVATION - Project consists of the following:

  • Providing a Secure Entry Vestibule:

  • West Entry to become new Main Entry. Sidewalk and ramp to be replaced. Canopy is to

  • remain.

  • Interior renovations to existing classrooms to create a reception area and new staff break room.

  • Replacing roof over the existing Cafeteria and Kitchen. This will include replacing the ceiling tiles.

  • Replace the exterior lighting controls

  • Add an exterior ramp from the building to the dumpsters.

  • Replace the Cooling Tower and replace the roof of the mechanical building where it sits.

  • Replace Fire Alarm System

  • Replace Grease Trap

  • Replace RPZ

Add Alternates include:

  • Replace sidewalks at Front Entry

  • Paint the auditorium

  • Replace exterior wall packs & soffit lights.

  • Replace Air Conditioning systems in existing MDF and IDF rooms.

  • Power wash cast stone at Auditorium Entry; Paint handrails, canopy supports, and canopy trim

ORG 232 BUCKNER TERRACE MONTESSORI – RENOVATION - Project consists of the following:

  • Replace Air Conditioning systems in existing MDF and IDF rooms.

  • Replace Ceiling tiles and grid in central wing cross corridors and back wing corridor

  • Replace VCT and base at Back Wing Corridor

  • HVAC improvements

  • Cooling Tower Replacement, replace the roof of the mechanical building where it sits.

  • Replace pumps and unit heater in Boiler Room

  • Plumbing Improvements

  • Replace EWCs with ones with bottlefillers.

  • Add washer/dryer area for SPED

  • Replace gas meter

  • Replace water heater

  • Replace gas piping on roof

  • Replace Grease Trap and lines

  • New Room graphics and way-finding signs

  • Paint gym walls

  • Add Alternates include:

  • Replace VCT and base in Classrooms of back wing only.

  • Paint exterior handrails and guardrails

ORG 270 EDUARDO MATA MONTESSORI – RENOVATION - Project consists of the following:

  • Repair the water leaks at the Penthouses by:

  • Replace the metal panels, damaged sheathing, insulation, and interior gypsum board.

  • Replace flashing

  • Replace louvers

  • Replace roofing trim/gravel guards

  • Replace damaged ceiling tile and light fixtures in spaces below.

  • Replace controls on exterior lighting.

  • Replace AC in MDF/IDF rooms

  • Repair Drainage issues in courtyard by:

  • Replace and add grate inlets

  • Clean out existing outlets

  • Connect downspouts to storm sewer

  • Regrade

  • Add Artificial Turf

  • Replace pumps

  • Replace heater in mechanical room

  • Provide damper and controls in Orchestra

  • Add Staff Restroom and Break Room

  • Replace sod with Artificial Turf in high traffic and playground areas

  • Correct Drainage at entry by:

  • Add drainage piping along foundation wall

  • Add relief louver in foundation wall to crawl space

  • Install exhaust fan to crawl space

  • Add Alternates include:

  • Install new RPZ

  • Add bottle fillers to existing Electric Water Coolers

BUDGET:
Total Estimated Construction Budget (CCL + IC+ Allowances) for CSP 207707: $6,637,077.00

PRE-BID & LOCATION:
A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 4918 Hovenkamp Dr, Dallas, TX 75227on Monday, 11/11/2024 at 2:30 PM in-person for all interested parties. This meeting is not mandatory, but information discussed will be extremely helpful in preparation of the proposal.

All general contractors and sub-contractors are encouraged to attend this meeting. Contractors will meet A/E(s) and PM at the school to start site tours. The first site tour will take place immediately following the pre-proposal.

BID-DATE & LOCATION:
All Construction Services procurements must be physically delivered to the Construction Services office, at the Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231.
(Call 972.925.7200 for directions). Delivery to other locations will result in rejection of a CSP.

Completed CSP Package Part 1-A, 1-B and 1-C are due on Tuesday, 12/10/2024 at 2:00 PM (local time).
Completed CSP Package Part 2 is due on Wednesday, 12/11/2024 at 3:00 PM (local time).

Any materials received after the respective closing dates / times will not be considered.

The District will open and read the names of the proposers and prices submitted in responsive CSPs beginning at 3:00 P.M. local time upon submittal of Part 2 of the Package, via Google meet at Dallas ISD Construction Services, Linus D.
